Kirk is a Husband and a father. He has 4 children, ranging in age from 18 – 8, the Peavy’s nickname is the “Half Dozen”. Kirk’s wife Christy is a 2nd generation Cuban / Colombian from Miami, FL. Kirk is originally from Tucson, AZ. Currently the Peavy’s reside in Lewisville, NC Kirk is an Army Veteran within Special Operations that led him to work for multiple Government agencies. He has a vast background in Diplomatic & Corporate Personal Protection of many US Diplomats and Fortune 500 companies C-Suite’s & families. Kirk has many years as a special skills, tactics and firearms instructor from military, US Department of State and civilian organizations. These experiences have molded Kirk as a highly organized and detail-oriented professional, strategist, manager, leader, and intelligence professional with a proven track record of managing government upwards of 600+ personnel. He has an extensive background in overseeing and participating in diplomatic protective security operations, active shooter awareness training, and regulatory contractual compliance. These qualities, combined with his genuine commitment to personal and professional growth, would enable him to make a substantial contribution to North Carolina’s Lieutenant Governor seat. As befitting his extensive operational experience in recent years, Peavy has operated in several high and medium threat environments across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Kirk is currently the Chief Operations Officer to Veteran’s View Intake Center in Mocksville, NC. He is also a small business owner of a mobile Special Skills & Firearms Training Group.
